Florida Keys History: Research of Gail Swanson

Nature of the Keys

I had never seen such strange things before I moved to the Florida Keys. Here were pink birds and waterspouts and rocks made out of seashells. And, my favorite subject, tropical plants! My first 10 years in the Keys were spent in examining and recording everything I saw, from the swamps to the skies to the woods to the beach. This file contains my accounting of the Natural Rhythms of the Florida Keys and a few articles I have written on Keys nature. More information will be added later.
